The newly-formed Atlantic Collegiate Baseball Association has released its inaugural season's schedule.
The east coast's top university and collegiate programs will compete for a berth in the 2019 ACBA Championship, to be hosted by the University of New Brunswick, October 11-13.
Teams will play a 16-game regular season, with a built-in weekend October 5-6 for games that may be postponed due to inclement weather. The top four teams will advance to the ACBA Championship.
Some highlights of the schedule include:
- The Holland Hurricanes will travel to Antigonish, Nova Scotia on Saturday September 7th to open the ACBA season. First pitch is set for 1:00 PM.
- The UNB Varsity Reds will host the Acadia Axemen Saturday September 28th at Royals Field in a rematch of the 2018 CCBA Atlantic Finals.
- The Dalhousie Tigers, and incoming coach Kevin Richardson, will closeout the ACBA regular season with an all-Halifax matchup as they face the St. Mary's Huskies at Mainland Commons on Sunday September 29th.
