Despite their performance in 2023, the STFX X-Men showed they were ready for the 2024 season picking up two wins in their first games of the season versus DAL.

Aidan Rittenberg drove in four on three hits, but DAL Tigers fell to STFX X-Men 12-10 on Saturday.
Despite the loss, DAL Tigers did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, STFX X-Men had 12 hits on the way to victory.
STFX X-Men got on the board in the top of the second inning after Ryder Penny singled, scoring one run, Kaelan Bakker was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and an error scored three runs.
DAL Tigers flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jack Randall that drove in two.
Kyle Moore singled, which helped STFX X-Men tie the game at six in the top of the third. DAL Tigers took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Andrew Gilmour grounded out, and Rittenberg doubled, each scoring one run.
Bakker singled, which helped STFX X-Men tie the game at eight in the top of the fifth.
STFX X-Men took the lead in the top of the sixth. Luke Sampson doubled, scoring one run, to give STFX X-Men the leg up, 9-8.
Aiden Myette earned the win for STFX X-Men. The hurler allowed six hits and eight runs (two earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out one and walking three. Van Manoukian pitched three innings in relief for DAL Tigers. The right-handed pitcher gave up seven hits and four runs (three earned) while, striking out three and walking none. AJ Tait took the loss for DAL Tigers. The hurler went one and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking four.
DAL Tigers piled up 12 hits in the game. Jayden Park and Nick Murray each collected multiple hits for DAL Tigers. DAL Tigers stole three bases in the game.
STFX X-Men accumulated 12 hits in the game. Blake Cooper led STFX X-Men with three runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-5 on the day. DAL Tigers jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after STFX X-Men committed an error, and Randall stole home, each scoring one run.
STFX X-Men jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning after Dickson grounded out, and DAL Tigers committed an error, each scoring one run. STFX X-Men scored eight runs on zero hits in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored one run, Kaelan Bakker drew a walk, scoring one run, Ty Arsenault drew a walk, scoring one run, Ryan MacDonald drew a walk, scoring one run, Blake Cooper drew a walk, scoring one run, #4 was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Jonathan Tremblay drew a walk, scoring one run, and Kyle Moore drew a walk, scoring one run.
Riley Andre led things off on the hill for DAL Tigers. The starter gave up four hits and seven runs (three earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking three.
